About Taylor Duffrin:
Taylor Duffrin, aka Taylor Flows, is a full-time flow arts instructor and performance
artist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Taylor’s love for flow arts started back in 2014 when she picked up her first hoop. She had been listening to music on YouTube while studying for an exam in college and a video of a hooper came up, after watching this video
Taylor ordered her first hoop within an hour and embarked on one of the most magical journeys of her life. After hooping for about 2 years, Taylor was offered her big break as a performer at Suwannee Hulaween and has performed at events and festivals all over
the United States ever since. During her performance career Taylor began to realize that there is something truly special about sharing flow arts with others, and that love of sharing and connecting inspired her to get into teaching others how to get into and
excel with flow arts. The Hula Hoop Institute’s Hoop Dream Malaysia invited Taylor to teach her first workshop in 2017 and since then Taylor has taught in France, Austria, Canada, and many cities in the United States. With the rise of COVID in 2020, Taylor
was forced to get creative to continue pursuing her dreams. Taylor became a full-time online instructor through a platform called Patreon sharing hundreds of tutorials l helping others advance in their flow arts journey. Taylor’s passion to share the power
of flow arts is unstoppable, cultivating a sense of optimism
through mistakes and feats, and creating confidence in what was previously thought impossible or difficult is the fuel for Taylor's teaching. There are so many important life lessons one can learn through hooping or any art/hobby that calls to you, Taylor believes
that your openness to learn new things is directly correlated with lifelong happiness.
